Tidal Direct blog post Public Hearts goes from strength to strength – and meets The Cheltenham Gold Cup
A month today we will be celebrating the 5th anniversary of Tidal Training Direct Ltd.
It’s been a busy start to the year, continuing our highly rated and supported first-aid training services to businesses throughout England and Wales.
As we come through Covid, we’re proud to maintain our safety and quality standards to teach first aid skills, vital both in and out of the workplace.
This month’s spotlight shines on our Public Hearts Cheltenham Defibrillator Campaign progress.
Thanks to the continued support of Bob Holt OBE, Spirax Sarco and the business community, we are delighted to place public access defibrillators in Cheltenham town centre.
Our work started pre-Covid, donating a defibrillator to Moon Under Water, co-funding a defibrillator for the United Services Club and working with Cheltenham BID who generously funded the public access defibrillator that sits in one of the phone boxes by RBS – Cheltenham town centre’s first.
This week we installed the 9th defibrillator at Copa on Regent Street, ahead of Race Week, giving this popular retail and hospitality area access to a defibrillator.
A huge thank you to all other defibrillator locations for their collaboration and support. We also extend this to Bob for his continued generosity enabling us to place a public access defibrillator on Winchcombe Street at Cheltenham Martial Arts and for Gloucester City Mission. More fantastic collaborations with the local community to give access to this lifesaving and life changing equipment in the event of a cardiac arrest. Bringing Great Western Air Ambulance Charity to the partnership brings us added expertise and coverage. Welcome GWAAC!
We were delighted to bring defibrillator partners together this week at The Sober Parrot. And the Cheltenham Gold Cup added some sparkle!
Collaboration and mutual support for one common purpose can work wonders.
Raising awareness in numbers of lifesaving defibrillators is what Public Hearts’ core purpose is, and we’re grateful to everybody for your support.
