Public Hearts Defib Campaign scoops another Community Award
Further to being shortlisted in the Community Category for BBC Radio Gloucestershire Make a Difference Awards 2024 in May this year, our Public Hearts Defib Family were delighted to join the BBC and so many other local great causes in celebrating the great and good happening in this county.
Tidal Director Colin Frensham, East Glos Club Manager Darren Morris, Councillor for Park Ward Jackie Chelin and husband Simon made up the fab four representing Public Hearts at the prestigious De Vere Cotswold Water Park hotel in South Cerney on 7 September 2024.
Public Hearts with awarded Highly Commended in The Morning Live Community Award for our contribution to the community in Raising awareness and numbers of 86 life saving defibs in our communities for those suffering cardiac arrests.
The afternoon was enjoyed by all and it was a great opportunity to catch up with fellow voluntary community charity and fund raising champions all working their best to make a difference for people in need. A big thank you to the BBC for their great support and congratulations to everyone.
