When the ladies at HFT CEO Tina Seymour, Claire Cosgrove and Nikki Budding shared their Pay for a Day campaign our Director Clare and sister company Tidal Training Ltd were keen to be involved. HFT operate 10 mobile cancer and haematology units (MCCUs) – and 2 in reserve, delivering vital treatment to patients. It costs £198 each day per unit to make sure cancer patients receive their mobile cancer care closer to their homes. They treated 14,174 patients in 2018 within their 12 MCCU’s across the UK – and £198 doesn’t include the NHS staff or medication, it is solely to maintain the mobile units and keep them on the road.
On Monday 29th April we joined fellow Gloucestershire based businesses Harbour Key Imperial Hill Group The Logical Utilities Company Brace Creative Agency and Cyber Security Associates at Cheltenham General Hospital to meet some of the amazing team, marking the launch of the campaign. BBC Radio Gloucestershire shared the story and spoke with our director Clare about how businesses can support HFT and “keep the wheels turning”.
